Isn’t it amazing that Jesus, the Son of God, wants to spend time with each of us? With all the billions and millions of people in the world, God wants to spend time with you!
God has time to listen to us when we talk to him. Because of that He wants us to really focus on our relationship with Him and give it the time it needs. That doesn’t mean that Jesus does not want us to enjoy ourselves or do normal everyday things such as going to school, tidying our rooms or playing with our friends. It does mean that we need to set aside special time to concentrate fully on talking to Him.
Making time to be with Jesus by reading the Bible, talking to Him through prayer and spending time with other Christians are important.
It is just as important that we include Jesus in everyday things we do as well. We can make Him a part of our lives by talking to Him as we walk to school, whilst we play at home we could thank Him for all the cool friends and toys that we have.
You can spend time with God by concentrating fully on Him and by including Him in all parts of your life and talking to Him as much as possible.
