There are places where the work of the gospel is seen in how people are served and cared for, and our Social Centres are often right there in the middle of real human need. They carry both compassion and responsibility in environments that are often complex and demanding. As we pray, we ask God to sustain the work and keep it always and only in line with His heart for people.

Deep compassion for those most in need
Pray that the Social Centres remain sensitive to the pain and struggles of those who come through their doors. Ask God to keep officers, staff and volunteers attentive, gentle, and willing to respond with care.
Scripture: Psalm 82:3 “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.”

Wisdom that shapes clear and effective decisions
Pray for God’s guidance in every programme, plan, and intervention. Ask Him to give clarity so that what is done brings real help and lasting good.
Scripture: James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God… and it will be given to you.”

Strength for those who serve day after day
Pray for staff and volunteers who carry heavy responsibilities and hear difficult stories. Ask God to renew their strength, guard their hearts, and sustain their commitment.
Scripture: Psalm 121:8 “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”

Provision for growing needs and open doors
Pray that God would provide resources, partnerships, and opportunities at the right time. Ask Him to make a way where there is pressure and limited capacity. Pray specifically for financial resources to be available to meet the need.
Scripture: Philippians 4:19 “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Transformation in people’s lives
Pray for real change in individuals and communities … healing where there has been brokenness and hope where there has been despair. Ask God to bring renewal that can be seen and felt. Pray that people will get saved and discipled in and through the programmes we offer.
Scripture: Isaiah 61:1 “He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives…”
