Prayer Requests
· Pray for the Territory’s Mission Sustainability Plan:
o For soil-selling to generate revenue.
o For resource mobilisation for missional purposes.
o For institutions to be re-purposed.
o For the Mission Support Fund Appeal.
o For renting and leasing empty land and buildings
· Pray for the Prayer Coordination Committee:
o For drafting the Manual of Operation.
o To maintain a spiritual relationship with Salvationists and friends.
o To sustain the Spirit of The Salvation Army in territorial activities.
o For working to form Prayer Coordination Committees at Division and Corps levels.
o To re-start the prison ministry.
· Pray for the Candidates Department as it seeks more applicants, and for the 7 prospective candidates.
· Pray for the Centenary Programme of War Cry Magazine and for the completion of 100 years of War Cry publication.
· Pray for the Training College, for the 2 Cadets and 4 staff members.
· Pray for the wellness of the active & retired Officers and Employees. ISWT has 276 active officers, 333 retired Officers, 15 Auxiliary Captains, 11 Envoys and 88 Employees.
· Pray for the Junior Home League Rallies starting in September and for the 912 Junior Home League members under the age of 21 years.

Territorial Day of Prayer 27th September 2026
Every person is precious to God. On 27 September, we join with Salvationists around the world for a day of prayer for those affected by human trafficking. As we pray, we remember that God sees every person, hears each cry and calls His people to stand for justice, dignity and freedom.
Pray for freedom and restoration
“He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Luke 4:18
Pray for those who are trapped in human trafficking, that they may experience freedom, protection and compassionate care. Ask God to guide them towards people and services that can help, and to bring healing and restoration to their lives.
Pray for wisdom and courage
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Proverbs 31:8
Pray for Salvation Army officers, soldiers, volunteers, other organisations and authorities working to prevent human trafficking and support survivors. May God give them wisdom to recognise vulnerability, courage to speak up against exploitation and then also the strength to serve with compassion and integrity.
Pray for communities where people are valued and protected
“Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.” Isaiah 1:17
Pray for communities to become places of safety, belonging and opportunity, where people are treated with dignity and respect. Ask God to open our eyes to the needs around us and show us how we can help protect the vulnerable, challenge injustice and reflect His love in practical ways.
