Prayer Topics:
· Pray for the persistence and continued commitment of the Cadets in Proclaimers of Transformation.
· Pray for the two Candidates who will be admitted to the Officers’ training in July.
· Pray for our young people to keep responding to the calling from God and commit themselves in full time ministries.
· Pray for spiritual growth in the region as we move forward with our yearly theme, ‘Be Fruitful: Bless the Families,’ and pray that our family members will accept Jesus.
· Pray for our Brengle in October. The theme is ‘The Perspective of Sacrament’ in the Salvation Army, and will equip officers and local officers to teach this topic to new believers.
War in the Middle East
As conflict rises and uncertainty deepens, we turn our hearts to God who calls His people to pray with compassion and courage. These prayer focuses remind us that our mission continues even in troubled times as we seek peace, protection for the vulnerable and strength for the Church as it serves in difficult places.
Pray for God’s Peace to Prevail
Scripture: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Matthew 5:9 (NIV)
Prayer Focus: Pray that the Lord will intervene in the rising conflict in the Middle East, restraining violence and opening pathways for peace. May He raise up peacemakers in places of influence.
Pray for Protection of the Innocent and Vulnerable
Scripture: “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Psalm 9:9 (NIV)
Prayer Focus: Intercede for civilians, especially children, the elderly, and families caught in the crossfire. Pray that God will shelter the vulnerable, provide safe passage where needed, and mobilise humanitarian aid to reach those in need.
Pray for the Church and Salvationists in the Region
Scripture: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 (NIV)
Prayer Focus: Lift up Salvationists and the wider Church serving in the Middle East. Pray for courage, compassion, and practical resources as they minister in extremely difficult circumstances. Ask the Lord to strengthen their witness so that even in crisis, the hope of Christ will shine brightly.
