The Central Division marked the commencement of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with impactful street ministry today on Rissik Street in Braamfontein. The event saw the active participation of Officers, DHQ Employees and the Mission Team, united in a common goal of raising awareness about the issue of violence against women and children. Distributing brochures, handing out care packs to ladies in the community and engaging in one-on-one evangelism, the team shared prayers and offered words of encouragement from The Word with individuals on the streets.
This was a collective effort to address the urgent need for awareness and change by standing united against gender-based violence. If we all stand up, speak out and raise our voices against gender based violence we can make a difference in creating a safer spaces for women and children.
