On November 4, 2023 the men of the Limpopo Division came together for a Men’s Rally at Thohoyandou Corps. Approximately 84 men from various Corps in the Division gathered for this one-day event.
The day comprised two sessions, each featuring a different speaker addressing the men on the subject of men’s health. The first speaker, Mr. Nevilimadi, imparted valuable lessons to the men regarding the importance of taking care of their bodies. The second speaker, Dr. Makhwanya, discussed diseases that specifically affect men and provided insights into finding a cure for them. The overarching theme for the entire event was “GROWING SIDE BY SIDE.” The keynote address was delivered by Lieut-Colonel Solomon Mahlangu, who delivered a powerful sermon guiding men on how to love their wives.
Throughout the day, there was a fundraising effort, including Shayaitafula, and the men successfully raised an impressive amount of R6215.00. Additionally, a special project was undertaken to purchase timbrels for the Corps, and the men were able to raise funds to purchase a total of 29 timbrels.
The Divisional Men’s Rally was a great success leaving the men of the Limpopo Division rejuvenated and inspired!
