The youth of Catherine Booth Corps, under the guidance of Lieutenants Mbane, sought to create meaningful connections with the Lord, each other and their new Officers. To strengthen these bonds, the youth proposed a bonding activity – hiking. They believed that immersing themselves in nature would provide an opportunity for reflection, exploration and the sharing of life’s challenges. The goal was to allow God to communicate with them through the beauty of the outdoors and to release the burdens of life into His hands. The young people experienced a wonderful time connecting with one another and deepening their spiritual connection with the Lord during this uplifting excursion.
