On Sunday, 27th October 2024, The Salvation Army Imbali Corps had a blessed day as we welcomed new members into our Corps. It was a day filled with joy as we dedicated seven children and celebrated the commitments made by 11 Junior Soldiers and nine Senior Soldiers who joined in membership.

The dedication of the children was particularly heartwarming, as we welcomed them into our Salvation Army family and committed to guiding them on their journey of faith. The Junior Soldiers and Senior Soldiers who made their commitments demonstrated a deep devotion to serving the Lord and sharing the message of hope and compassion. As we celebrated this special day, we were reminded of the importance of community and unity within the Corps. Our members came together to support and uplift one another, strengthening our bonds and reaffirming our mission.

Lt. G. Makebesana delivered the message themed “United We Stand,” based on Nehemiah 4:19: “The work is extensive and spread out, and we are widely separated from each other along the wall.” With a shared mission to save souls, grow saints, and serve suffering humanity, the new members are eager to begin this journey and make a positive impact in their community. Through their dedication and faith, they trust that God’s work will be fulfilled in their service to others.

We look forward to the impact these new members will have on our Corps and the wider community. With their passion, dedication, and love for the Lord, we are confident they will continue to spread God’s grace and make a positive difference in the world around them. We give thanks to God for the blessings of this day and look forward to the journey ahead as we continue to serve and uplift others in the name of our Saviour.
