Major Vukani Nkosi, currently serving in Namibia, departed on 13th October 2025 to attend the International College for Officer Training (ICO). Nestled at Sunbury Court in London, ICO provides an environment where officers can grow spiritually while being further developed for ministry. Through teaching, worship, prayer, and authentic international fellowship, officers are given opportunities to develop their leadership skills, deepen their faith, and engage in hands-on ministry experiences.
At ICO, officers are guided to strengthen their spiritual maturity and to grow in holiness. The programme also focuses on building leadership capacity, equipping officers to serve effectively in today’s ministry contexts. Officers gain valuable exposure to the international community of The Salvation Army, experiencing first-hand the global reach of God’s mission. Throughout this journey, they are encouraged to embrace their calling with renewed passion and a stronger commitment to ministry.
We pray that God’s guidance, blessing, and encouragement will be with Major Nkosi throughout this six-week journey at Sunbury Court!
