Krugersdorp Corps in the Central Division has recently gone out twice into the community and surrounding areas with a clear desire to share the love of Jesus Christ. Led by the officers, Captain Dumisani Fakude and Lieutenant Precious Fakude, members have stepped beyond the Corps walls to connect with people and speak about the hope and salvation found in Christ.
These recent outreach efforts reflect a Corps that understands its calling goes beyond numbers. Whether those going out are many or few, the commitment remains the same. To meet people where they are, to listen, to pray and to speak about the saving grace of Jesus in ways that are honest and accessible.
On 17 May, Krugersdorp Corps travelled to Munsieville as part of another intentional effort to reach people with the gospel. As members engaged with residents, conversations about faith were shared, prayer was offered and the message of God’s love and forgiveness was made known.
Krugersdorp Corps is determined to continue reaching out. With trust in God’s leading and obedience to his call, the Corps will keep moving into the community to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and serve others in his name.
