Territorial and Divisional Leaders from across the Southern Africa Territory gathered at Kopanong Conference Centre from 1–3 June 2026 for the annual Territorial Leaders Consultation.
The gathering intentionally provided space for prayer, worship, reflection, and discernment as leaders considered the ongoing mission and ministry of The Salvation Army. Throughout the consultation, participants were encouraged to listen attentively to one another and to seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in shaping the future direction of the Territory.
Significant time was set aside for devotion and prayer, offering opportunity for pause and reflection as leaders engaged with matters relating to the Salvation Army’s mission and ministry in the Territory. The consultation also highlighted the importance of courageous and compassionate leadership in a changing context, with attention given to faithfulness in mission and responsiveness to need.
As the consultation concluded, focus was drawn to Ephesians 2:10 by the Territorial Commander Colonel Stephen Malins, affirming God’s people as His workmanship in Christ Jesus, created for good works prepared in advance.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
