Booth Memorial Hospital was recently honoured by City of Cape Town Ward Councillor Francine Higham, in recognition of its excellence and dedicated service to the community. Major Alister Wood accepted the award on behalf of The Salvation Army. The recognition highlights the hospital’s ongoing contribution to rehabilitation, convalescent and palliative care within the Cape Town community.
Situated in Oranjezicht, in the shadow of Table Mountain, Booth Memorial Hospital provides a healing ministry in the name of Christ. The hospital offers rehabilitation, terminal care and convalescent services to patients referred by hospitals and medical practitioners. Operated by The Salvation Army, the hospital seeks to meet human needs through compassionate care and support for those entrusted to its service. The award recognises the hospital’s contribution to the community and its ongoing ministry to patients and their families.
