How great thou art! This is what my heart is feeling at this moment. God has been great and He has been faithful to me. Do you know the feeling you have when you are doing something you really like? Every day you are like ‘I do not regret making the decision to be a servant of God.’ As a person, you might have some doubts because of the decision you have made, but I haven’t got to that point, not because it was easy but every day I remember the narrative of Job when he responded to his wife saying, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble.” This has made me serve God, even when it was not easy, because “it is all about Jesus” as our Territorial Leaders, Commissioners Eliasen, always say.
My heart is full of gratitude because of the God I serve. Looking back at the year I made the decision to enter the College For Officer Training (CFOT) and now, I see a huge difference in my life in terms of spiritual matters. The CFOT has shaped me and restructured my spiritual life from being just a Bible reader to being a person who will do an exegesis when reading or preparing a sermon. That is the difference I am talking about. It has been a good two years at the training college. I pray that if you are still reluctant to answer God’s call, please answer Him. As the youngest Cadet, I have learned to fully trust in God, not because of what He can do for me but because He is a good God to me. AMEN!
