In Isaiah 9:6 the prophet speaks of a child born to us, a son given to us—foretelling the Messiah. One of His significant titles is the “Wonderful Counsellor.” In a world often fraught with confusion and uncertainty, we find solace in this promise. The Wonderful Counsellor beckons us to seek His guidance and wisdom. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus, may we open our hearts to His counsel, allowing His wisdom to light our paths. This Christmas, let the presence of the Wonderful Counsellor be a source of comfort, assurance, and guidance, leading us to a deeper understanding of His love and purpose in our lives.
