Sunday 18th February 2024 is an important day in the Territorial Calendar! It is the first Sunday School Outreach Sunday! This event aims to intentionally connect with children in the community who aren’t currently engaged in children’s ministry programmes at the Corps. Be a part of inviting them to join your Sunday School ministry! Sunday School Outreach Sunday is a wonderful opportunity for kids to connect, learn and have fun together. Here are some ideas for activities children can enjoy on this special day:

1.Interactive Bible Stories: Engage children with captivating retellings of beloved Bible stories. Encourage participation through role-playing or storytelling games.

2.Craft Stations: Let creativity flow with craft stations where kids can make crafts related to the day’s lesson. This hands-on approach helps reinforce lessons in a memorable way.

3.Music and Worship: Inspire young hearts with uplifting worship songs tailored for their age group. Encourage them to express their love for God through music.

4.Outdoor Games: Weather permitting, organize outdoor games and activities that promote teamwork, friendship and physical exercise. It’s a great way for kids to burn off energy and bond with peers.

5.Snack Time: Keep energy levels up with tasty snacks and refreshments. Use this time for informal conversations and building relationships with the children.

6.Invite Friends: Encourage children to invite their friends and classmates to join in the fun. It’s an excellent opportunity to expand the Sunday School community and share the love of Christ with others.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to reach children in your Community with the good news of Jesus! Let’s step outside our Corps halls and engage with the children in our communities! Mark your calendars for February 18th  and spread the word. For more information please speak to your Officer, Corps leader and DCMO.
