Estill Corps had been actively involved in a feeding programme that experienced a temporary pause due to financial challenges faced by the donor. Recognizing the crucial role the feeding programme played in meeting the community’s needs, particularly the children attending the nearby school, the Estill Corps Home League ladies were deeply concerned about their wellbeing. Feeling led to take action, they made the decision to continue the feeding programme.

Despite the interruption caused by financial constraints, the children had persisted in coming to The Salvation Army, hopeful for any provisions. Touched by their persistence and need, the Estill Home League took the initiative to resume the feeding programme. Demonstrating The Salvation Army’s commitment to addressing both physical and spiritual needs, the programme includes not only providing food but also offering Bible lessons to the children.

Today, we rejoice as 389 children were fed! Praise the Lord for His provision and the dedication of those involved in serving the community.
