Over the Easter weekend, the Central Division was blessed with special guests, Captains Mteteleli and Nonkosazana Memani, supported by Divisional Leaders Majors Nhandara, along with Officers, Retired Officers, Local Officers, and Soldiers. The theme for the weekend, “United under the Blood,” was the focus throughout the gatherings.
Colonels Hezekiel and Mirriam Mavundla conducted the installation of the new Divisional Leaders, Majors Annanias and Sengeziwe Nhandara, on Saturday following an impactful Open Air outreach. The weekend was further enriched by a Shayatafula Festival on Saturday afternoon and a stirring Revival Meeting in the evening.
A delegation of five Officers from the Mozambique Territory joined the Easter gatherings, staying on for training workshops scheduled later in the week.
Statistics from the weekend gatherings are a testament to the Lord’s work in the lives of those in attendance: a remarkable 3000 attendees, including 200 children participating in the specially organized children’s event, alongside 120 seekers, and a heartening response of one offer for officership.
All meetings were held in Mobopane Block B, serving as a sacred space for spiritual renewal and fellowship. As we reflect on the weekend’s events, we offer praise and thanksgiving to the Lord for the impact experienced in the hearts and lives of the Soldiers and Junior Soldiers of the Central Division.
