The Easter weekend celebration for the Mpumalanga & eSwatini Division was held at Inkanyeti Private School in Manzini, eSwatini. The theme for the weekend was ‘Christ’s Grace Saves and Heals’, with a significant emphasis on evangelism. The celebration commenced with Good Friday services, followed by an awareness walk in town on Saturday. Soldiers actively participated in this walk by distributing pamphlets targeting family values and combating violence against women and children. The community responded extremely positively, engaging in meaningful conversations.

Later in the day, a march of witness took place in town, with local police escorting Salvationists as they proceeded through the town. On Sunday morning, another march of witness occurred before the Sunday morning service. The outreach into the community proved fruitful, as 50 people expressed interest in joining The Salvation Army, reinforcing the value of the Division’s intentional ministry aimed at spreading the love and hope found only in Jesus within the community.
