More than 200 young people gathered for Y-Connexion under the theme ‘A Generation with a Message,’ focusing on Exodus 34. The weekend provided a space for our young people to reflect on their personal journeys with God and empowering them to be game changers in their places of influence.
Saturday was filled with much excitement and activity. We had guests from Heartlines facilitate a “What’s Your Story?” session, followed by a Bible study and an interactive session titled ‘Siyakhula.’ In the late afternoon, we went on a hike, which was refreshing to the soul, body and mind.
On Sunday, we had a powerful and Spirit-filled service where the new Divisional Youth and Children’s Ministry Board was commissioned by the Divisional Leaders, Majors Velani & Philile Buthelezi. Additionally, four young people said “YES” to the call to Officership. The highly anticipated weekend left an incredible mark on the lives of the young people in the Division. Witnessing so many young peple come before the throne of grace and mercy was truly humbling, as they leave with a commitment to continue growing side by side.
