Excitement is building across the Territory as women begin preparing for Crown Her 2025—the upcoming Territorial Women’s Ministries Rally that promises to be a time of celebration, encouragement, and spiritual refreshment. In the lead-up to this special event, a series of Bible studies have been made available to women in Corps and Centres across the Territory—and the College for Officer Training (CFOT) has wholeheartedly embraced them.
The first Bible study was led by Captain Miranda Mlambo under the theme “The Foundation of the Crown – Rooted in Christ.” The session began with a fun and thoughtful icebreaker where each participant named a Bible character, helping set a tone of fellowship and connection. As the women shared during the Reflections time, it became clear that Christ is indeed the unshakable foundation of our faith. The study ended with a meaningful challenge: to go out, share the gospel boldly, and live lives rooted deeply in Christ.

The second Bible study was led by Cadet F. Mtshali, on the theme “The Gems of the Crown – God’s Gifts in Us” to life. The session focused on recognising and valuing the diverse gifts God has placed within each of us, and how those gifts are meant to be used—not for self-glory, but to build up the Church and advance God’s Kingdom. The takeaway was both inspiring and encouraging: though our gifts are many and varied, they work together toward one shared purpose.
As anticipation continues to grow across the Territory, we’d love to hear how your Corps or Centre is engaging with the Crown Her Bible studies, projects, and activities. Whether you’re diving into Bible study sessions, creating something beautiful together, or serving in your communities—please share your stories with the War Cry.
Send in your photographs, updates, and testimonies as we celebrate together what God is doing in women’s lives throughout the Territory on the road to Crown Her 2025.
