This month, Sidwell Corps in the Eastern Cape Division held a meaningful Father’s Day outreach that touched lives in a lasting way. Nearly 200 people in the community received a warm meal of soup, bread, an orange, and a sweet treat. Elderly men were honoured with scarves and cross necklaces—gifts shared with love.

The event was led by the Community Care Ministries team and workers at the Corps, many of whom personally contributed to make it possible. There was a deep sense of joy in serving, and God’s blessing rested on the day.

Sidwell Corps is under the leadership of Commissioners Trevor and Memory Tuck, who continue to lead this ministry faithfully in retirement.

Most moving of all, a number of people responded to the message shared and gave their hearts to Jesus. We give thanks to God for the fruit of this ministry and the ongoing witness of Sidwell Corps.
