Good Friday in the Mid Kwa Zulu Natal Division began in a calm and reverent atmosphere, setting the tone for what became a truly powerful and Spirit-filled service. Everything was well led, flowing smoothly and intentionally from beginning to end. From the worship to the Word, the presence of the Lord was deeply felt. The speaker delivered a powerful and impactful message that spoke directly to the hearts of many, and the service was beautifully concluded with a meaningful closing by the guest. It was truly a blessed and unforgettable time.

Earlier that day, the Children’s Ministry kicked off with great excitement. The children were full of energy and enthusiasm as they gathered, ready to learn and engage. Games were played, creating a joyful and welcoming environment, followed by a Bible story from Hebrews 12. The children were challenged to fix their eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of their faith, reminding them to always look to Him in all circumstances.

Later on Friday, the Youth Revival took place in the evening and was led by the DYB members. It was a powerful time of worship, teaching, and reflection. Young people were encouraged to lift their eyes to the One who died on the Cross and to stop complaining about small things. The devotion, taken from Numbers 21:4–9, reminded them of the importance of looking up in faith and trusting in God.

Saturday carried a sense of reflection and community engagement. The Men’s Fellowship held a meaningful and impactful meeting, which strengthened and encouraged the men. This was followed by a time of fellowship where they shared a meal together, building unity and brotherhood.

Outreach remained a key focus throughout the weekend. Open-air services were held to reach more people within the community, and the Community Care Ministry went out to serve 175 individuals in different areas, including informal settlements and taxi ranks. They not only met physical needs through feeding but also engaged in one-on-one conversations, offering encouragement and prayer to those they encountered.

In the evening, the Home League led a powerful service as hearts were united in anticipation of the resurrection. The message from Luke 24:5–6, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” stirred faith, hope, and a sense of victory among all present. The atmosphere was deeply moving, filled with a sense of God’s presence as darkness gave way to light, and every voice lifted in worship declared the triumph of Christ.

Sunday marked the climax of the Easter weekend. After days filled with praise, worship, joyful dancing, powerful preaching, and meaningful activities, everything came together in one final service. The congregation stood united in faith and celebration, boldly declaring that Christ has risen. It was more than just the conclusion of a weekend—it was a powerful reminder of hope, victory, and new life. Hearts were filled, spirits were renewed, and lives were touched in a lasting way.
