This week, Candidates from across the Territory have gathered at Territorial Headquarters for the Territorial Candidates Assessment. As they participate in this important part of the process of discerning God’s call, let us uphold them, together with the faculty of assessors, asking the Lord to guide every conversation, decision and outcome. May His wisdom prevail, His peace be evident, and His perfect will be accomplished.

Pray for the Candidates

Pray that each Candidate will experience God’s peace, be free from anxiety, and engage openly and confidently throughout the assessment process. May they sense His presence and trust Him as they share their journey and calling.

Scripture: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 (NIV)

Pray for the Faculty of Assessors

Pray that the assessors will be filled with wisdom, discernment and compassion as they listen, observe and prayerfully evaluate each Candidate. May the Holy Spirit guide every question, discussion and recommendation.

Scripture: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 (NIV)

Pray for God’s Will

Pray that, above all else, God’s purposes will be fulfilled through this assessment. May every Candidate and every assessor remain surrendered to His leading, trusting that His plans are always good and perfect.

Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)
