Prayer Requests:
· Spiritual Growth and Revival of the Church: Pray for spiritual renewal across the Territory, that God may strengthen the prayer life, holiness, discipleship and evangelistic passion among Officers, Local Leaders, and Soldiers.
· Leadership Development and Training: Pray for the raising and development of faithful, wise and visionary leaders including Officers, Cadets, Local Officers, Youth Leaders and future servants called to ministry.
· Financial Sustainability and Territorial Self-Support: Pray for God’s provision, wisdom and sustainable financial growth for the territory, enabling stronger mission impact, effective administration and long-term development.
· Youth and Children’s Ministry: Pray for a new generation committed to Christ, protected from drugs, violence, immorality, alcoholism and destructive influences, inspired to serve God wholeheartedly.
· Mission Expansion and Corps Growth: Pray for the opening of new mission fields, strengthening of local corps and the continued spread of the Gospel throughout urban and rural communities in Angola.
· Peace, Stability, and Social Development in Angola: Pray for the nation of Angola, for government leaders, economic stability, reduction of poverty and unemployment, and for God’s intervention in the social challenges affecting families and communities.
· Health, Protection, and Unity of Officers and Families: Pray for God’s protection, good health, encouragement and unity among Officers, employees, volunteers and their families, as they continue serving faithfully in ministry.
Local Prayer Topics
Envoy Training
This week, Envoy Training is taking place at the College for Officer Training (CFOT), and we want to uphold those who are participating in prayer. These are men and women who have said “yes” to deeper service and are being equipped for ministry in their Corps and communities. As they learn, reflect, and grow, we ask God to strengthen, guide, and anoint them afresh for His mission.
A heart fully surrendered to God
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
Pray that each envoy will continue to surrender every area of their life to God’s leading. Ask the Lord to deepen their trust in Him above their own understanding or experience. Pray for hearts that remain teachable and obedient.
Fresh filling of the Holy Spirit
“Be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18
Pray that this training will not only inform but transform through the power of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to refresh, empower, and renew each participant for the work ahead. Pray for spiritual vitality and sensitivity to His voice.
Clarity of calling and purpose
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” Ephesians 2:10
Pray that each envoy will gain deeper clarity about their God-given calling. Ask the Lord to remove confusion and affirm their purpose in His mission. Pray that they will walk confidently in what God has prepared for them.
Boldness for mission and service
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Pray that each envoy will leave this training strengthened and courageous for ministry. Ask God to remove fear and replace it with bold faith. Pray that they will go forward confident in God’s presence and power.
