Sunday 19th July 2026 was a day of great joy and thanksgiving at Peart Memorial Corps as 14 recruits were enrolled as soldiers of The Salvation Army.
Before the congregation, each recruit publicly declared faith in Jesus Christ and signed the Soldier’s Covenant, affirming a commitment to faithful discipleship, holy living and service through The Salvation Army. This public commitment is an expression of their decision to follow Christ and to take their place in the mission and ministry of the Church.

As they made this commitment, the new soldiers dedicated themselves to God’s service and pledged to live according to the truths of Scripture and the values expressed in The Salvation Army’s Articles of Faith.
The Corps shared in the celebration and committed to supporting the new soldiers through prayer, encouragement and fellowship as they continue to grow in their walk with the Lord.
We thank God for each new soldier and pray that their lives will honour Christ, reflect His love in their communities and inspire others to follow Him. As Peart Memorial Corps, we rejoice in God’s faithfulness and celebrate this important milestone in the lives of these believers.

Amen 🙏
