The Mid KwaZulu-Natal Division experienced a vibrant Easter gathering under the leadership of Divisional Leaders Majors Nhlanhla & Priscilla Ziqubu, alongside the Chief Secretary, Lieutenant Colonel Themba Mahlobo, and the Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Lieutenant Colonel Nokuthula Mahlobo, as special guests. Ward 37 Councillor Mrs. Maphumulo and Member of Parliament Mr. Sdumo Dlamini, former Cosatu Secretary-General, also attended the Good Friday service, where they warmly welcomed Salvationists to the area and ensured their safety in Newlands East, the venue for the Easter meeting. The presence of the Holy Spirit was palpable in all the meetings throughout the weekend.
The installation of the new Divisional Leaders, Open Airs, and Soldiers meetings took place on Saturday. Meanwhile, the children enjoyed their dedicated venue, engaging in various creative ministries and crafts, providing them with ample fun and learning experiences to aid them in their walk with the Lord.
The Division was immensely grateful to God for granting them this opportunity to gather together, especially after enduring two challenging years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
