Let us celebrate the presence, potential and promise of children and young people within The Salvation Army!
Each year, The Salvation Army commemorates the International Day of Children and Young People on the final Sunday of April. This year, mark your calendars for Sunday, April 28th, 2024.
This day isn’t merely a chance to offer prayers for children and young people but also an opportunity to integrate them fully into every facet of our mission. It’s about amplifying their voices and providing them with platforms to shine, serve and grow.
We firmly believe that children, while in the process of growth, are complete individuals in their own right. Each person is called by God to a genuine relationship and purpose, not just a potential one in the future.
This perspective drives us to view children and young people as integral, active members of the Body of Christ, deserving equal recognition alongside anyone else.
Join us in celebrating on Sunday 28 April, or on another Sunday of your choice.
