On the 17th and 18th of May, the Northern KwaZulu-Natal Division hosted a successful Protective Behaviours Training at Mountain View, attended by 28 participants. The training, led by Captain Vukani Nkosi and supported by Divisional Leaders Majors Velani and Philile Buthelezi, focused on equipping attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to empower children within their communities. The interactive sessions provided a comprehensive understanding of protective behaviours, emphasizing the importance of creating safe environments for children.

At the conclusion of the training, the delegates from each Corps developed a detailed implementation plan to integrate the training into their local contexts, including Corps, schools and communities. This strategic planning ensured that the newly trained practitioners are prepared to take actionable steps to empower and protect children effectively. As these dedicated practioners step out in faith to serve their communities, may God bless their efforts and use them mightily to make a tangible difference in the lives of children throughout the Northern KwaZulu-Natal Division.
