On Monday, a gas tank explosion in Bonteheuwel resulted in six injuries and significant property damage, affecting three houses and impacting 40 individuals. In response to this event, the Bonteheuwel Corps in the Western Cape Division swiftly partnered with NGOs to provide much-needed assistance to the affected community. Today, the Corps was on-site, offering lunch to those affected and demonstrating their commitment to supporting their neighbours in times of crisis.

In addition to immediate relief efforts, Bonteheuwel Corps has joined forces with other organisations to supply mattresses, blankets and food for the next two days. This collaborative effort aims to provide comfort and essential resources to those who have lost so much, ensuring they have the support needed.
