Sunday 16th June 2024, the Kwa-Mashu Corps in the Mid Kwa Zulu Natal Division held their church service at Tongaat, where a recent tornado has displaced many residents, leaving them to seek shelter in tents. In response to this crisis, Corps members extended their hands and hearts to the community, providing much-needed spiritual support, food and clothing to those in dire circumstances. This act of compassion and service is a reflection of the Corps’ commitment to living out their faith and bringing hope to those affected by the disaster.

We thank God for enabling the Kwa-Mashu Corps to serve those in need, fulfilling part of The Salvation Army’s mission to alleviate human suffering. Their efforts not only addressed immediate physical needs but also brought comfort and encouragement to a community in distress. May God continue to use Kwa-Mashu Corps to be bearers of God’s hope and comfort to those who need it most.
