On Saturday, 14 September 2024, the Eastern Cape Divisional Men’s Fellowship Rally was held at Ibhayi Corps, and it was a truly blessed day. We began at 09:00 and concluded at 14:00. It was a great opportunity to meet with the men, including some young men who joined us. In total, we were twenty-one men in attendance.

Our theme for the day was, “Who is a man?” Major Heshu, the speaker of the fellowship, led us through this thought-provoking topic. We engaged in meaningful discussions and answered various questions, guided by CSM Christopher Mahwehwe from PE Central. He also outlined the structure we need to establish for our men’s fellowship.
We spent time in worship, and the Word was powerfully preached on being courageous as men and taking a stand as men of God in our homes, communities, and churches. The Scripture readings were from Joshua 1:6-9 and Joshua 24:14-15, which further challenged us in our walk with God.
Throughout the event, we were deeply aware of the presence of our Lord and Saviour. The Corps represented included Ibhayi (16), Sidwell (1), Uitenhage (2), and PE Central (2). We hope to see even more men join us at the next rally.

After the formal proceedings, we enjoyed lunch and fellowship together. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ibhayi Corps for hosting this well-organized event and to the team for their excellent work in making it such a success.
