The Mpumalanga and Eswatini Division held their Easter gatherings at Pienaar Corps, with special guests including the Secretary for Personnel, Lt. Colonel T. Dlamini, and the Secretary for Retired Officers and Community Care Ministries, Lt. Colonel D. Dlamini. They were joined by the Divisional Commander, Major N. Malinga, and supported by Officers from across the Division. Retired Officers were also actively involved in the event.

The theme for the Easter weekend was “The Blood That Sanctifies.” Soldiers from various Corps gathered in unity to declare that we are sanctified by the blood of Jesus Christ. Powerful messages were delivered by the leaders, and everyone in attendance could testify to the moving presence of the Holy Spirit. The singing filled the hall, and God’s presence was truly felt.

On Saturday afternoon, the youth of the Division hosted a Praise Meeting—it was overwhelming and inspiring to witness young people engaging in worship, dance, and sharing special items.
The final meeting on Sunday began with a March of Witness, boldly proclaiming “Uvukile” (He is risen). The Secretary for Personnel delivered a powerful message, reminding us that we serve a risen God. Many responded by coming to the mercy seat in prayer, others responded where they were seated, and four Soldiers answered God’s call after a heartfelt appeal. The work of the Holy Spirit was evident throughout the entire weekend.
In closing, the Divisional Commander thanked everyone for attending and expressed gratitude for a safe and Spirit-filled weekend. Truly, God is good and worthy to be praised!
The Kids’ Ministry also had their own special time, joyfully proclaiming the love of Jesus in their lives.
As the weekend came to a close, hearts were full, spirits were lifted, and lives were touched by the power of God’s presence. The unity, passion, and dedication shown by all—young and old—was a true reflection of a people sanctified by the blood of Jesus. The Officers, soldiers and junior soldiers of the Mpumalanga and Eswatini Division left the Easter weekend renewed in purpose and faith, boldly declaring: He is Risen, indeed!
