On 23 June 2025, the Limpopo Division of The Salvation Army visited Mphatele Primary School to donate school shoes to learners in need. Led by the Divisional Commander, Major I.S. Mntambo, the team distributed 15 new pairs of school shoes and 11 gently used pairs to deserving pupils.
During the morning assembly, Captains N. and Z. Fakudze represented the Division. Captain Z. Fakudze shared a heartfelt devotion with the school, and Captain N. Fakudze facilitated the official handover of the shoes. A prayer was also offered for the children and school staff.
The school principal, Mr R. Netshilaphala, expressed sincere gratitude to The Salvation Army for its generosity and care.
This outreach formed part of the Winter Drive 2025 initiative, aimed at supporting vulnerable children and making a lasting, positive impact in their lives.
