In recognition of Breast Care Awareness Month, both the Bonteheuwel Corps and the Early Childhood Development Centre (ECD) actively participated in initiatives to promote awareness and support within their community.
The ECD children enthusiastically took part in a Pink Drive, contributing small donations that collectively raised R500.00. This amount was handed over to Ms. Lydia from the Breast Care Foundation, showcasing the children’s compassion and sense of community.

As part of the programme, Ms. Lydia addressed the ladies of the Bonteheuwel community, speaking on the importance of early detection and providing practical guidance on breast health and self-examination.
It was a beautiful and empowering afternoon, filled with encouragement and inspiration, as women were reminded to take proactive steps in caring for their health. To further support the initiative, the Bonteheuwel Corps also presented a R500.00 donation to the Breast Care Foundation, reinforcing their commitment to community care and holistic well-being.
Together, the Corps and ECD continue to embody the spirit of Wings of Love, reaching out, raising awareness, and empowering lives.
