Major Heather Rossouw has received a civic award from the Bonteheuwel Community in the City of Cape Town. The award was presented on 27 May 2026 in recognition of her leadership and ongoing service through The Salvation Army in the area. Under Major Heather’s leadership, the Bonteheuwel Corps has continued to support local residents through both spiritual ministry and practical care, particularly among families facing difficult circumstances. The recognition reflects the strong relationship between the Corps and the community it serves, and affirms the Army’s mission to meet human needs in Christ’s name.
