Today, the Cadets and Mission Team, led by the Officers from the Education and Development Centre (EADC), enjoyed a fulfilling day of ministry in Stilfontein. The day commenced with an open-air gathering and a children’s ministry outreach, with 33 children from the Stilfontein community participating in the kids’ ministry programme. Notably, 24 of these children accompanied the Mission Team back to the Corps Hall to attend the morning service!
During the open-air meeting, three adults made the significant decision to surrender their lives to Christ. Following this impactful community outreach, the day continued with the morning service at Stilfontein Corps.
After the morning service, the Cadets, Mission Team and EADC staff gathered at the residence of Granny Nontini Martha Oompie—a dedicated soldier of Stilfontein Corps celebrating her 100th birthday. The gathering at Granny Nontini’s house was a wonderful time of celebration, uplifting songs and encouragement was drawn from the Word. The room was filled with joy and a deep sense of community, making this time together truly memorable and a blessing for everyone present.
