My life’s journey has always reminded me that it’s a narrative authored by God, meant for others to witness His presence. I faced challenging health issues in my childhood, with my parents tirelessly seeking medical help. I vividly recall falling seriously ill during my grade 12 year in 2008 due to food poisoning, leading to a hospitalization that left me unable to walk for two weeks. My parents’ anguish was palpable, and I overheard my father’s desperate prayer by my bedside.

In 2008, due to my health challenges, I was unable to study or focus, which led to me repeating my grade 12. However, in 2009, I managed to pass without any health problems. Still, I cannot say I was the same person I was before the incident happened. It’s worth noting that around November 2008, I got better, and my parents then went into a time of prayer, fasting with some of their church members. During this period, we noticed some positive changes. I wrote my exams, but I cannot say I was in my right mind, which also resulted in me falling.

Today, when I reflect on how far God has brought me, I’m filled with gratitude, pondering how I survived those hardships. I’ve given my life to Christ, and in everything I do, I seek to bring glory to His name, guided by 1 Corinthians 10:31.
