The Central Division came together in Springs over the Easter weekend for a Spirit-filled gathering under the theme Boundless Love. With guests Commissioners Torben and Deise Eliasen, supported by Divisional Leaders Majors Annanias and Sengeziwe Nhandara, the weekend was marked by moving worship, meaningful teaching, and powerful moments of prayer.

Major Annanias Nhandara, Divisional Commander, shared his joy at the strong attendance from across the Division and gave thanks to God that many people were set free from the weight of sin. The gathering brought together officers, soldiers, and families for a weekend centred on Jesus Christ and the message of the cross.
A highlight of the weekend was the open-air outreach, where four individuals gave their lives to Jesus. This moment brought great encouragement to all, as the Good News of Easter reached hearts beyond the walls of the venue. Saturday morning’s prayer meeting was especially moving, drawing many into a deeper time of seeking God. The Territorial Commander, Commissioner Torben Eliasen, led a Bible study that spoke clearly and powerfully to the needs of the Division.
Children were not left out. Commissioner Deise Eliasen shared with them the full story of Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection. Her message helped the children understand the depth of God’s love in a way that was both clear and meaningful.
Throughout the weekend, the mercy seat saw many come forward in response to God’s prompting. The prayer room also remained a place where people could find someone to pray with them, offering space for support and encouragement. Saturday was a particularly important time for many, as people experienced freedom in Christ and were released from spiritual burdens. The various musical brigades played an important role throughout the weekend, leading worship that brought God glory and helped prepare hearts to receive His Word. Their contributions were appreciated and helped to draw people closer to God. Each speaker on the programme was used by God to bring messages of hope and truth that touched many hearts. During Shayatafula, the people of the Central Division gave generously and cheerfully. There was a real sense of joy as people gave from their hearts.

The ministry of the Territorial Leaders was a great blessing to the Division. The Commissioners served with humility, warmth, and deep spiritual insight. It was clear that God was working through the Leaders as they shared the messages He had placed on their hearts, encouraging, challenging, and pointing people back to Christ. The Mission Team played a key role in leading the youth and children’s ministries. Their energy and dedication helped make the weekend special for the younger members of the Division, ensuring that everyone had a place to grow and engage.
As the Easter weekend came to a close, there was a strong sense of thankfulness across the Division. Many left encouraged and renewed by the message of Boundless Love and the movement of God’s Spirit throughout the weekend. To God be the glory for a weekend filled with hope, salvation, and the shared joy of the Risen Christ.
