Men’s Ministry in The Southern Africa Territory is intentional and strategic as we understand that the impact of Men’s Ministry can extend beyond individual homes and communities. Men who live out their faith with conviction and demonstrate Christ-like character become beacons of light in a world hungering for truth and authenticity. Their actions and values can challenge societal norms, shaping a culture rooted in love, compassion, and righteousness.

Men who live out their faith with conviction and demonstrate Christ-like character become beacons of light…

The purpose of Men’s Fellowship is to encourage and equip men to become Men of God, Men of Prayer, Men of Service and Men of Fellowship.

The Salvation Army Men’s Fellowship seeks to:

  • Provide men with a medium for Christian fellowship where they can grow together in their devotion to Christ through Bible study
  • Promote prayer support systems among men and help them foster strong relationships, endeavouring to bring men into fellowship with God
  • Encourage involvement of every man in the corps programme and in service to the community
  • Promote strong family ties through education and discussions particularly with regard to the man’s role in family life. In addition, to provide education in vocational skills and promote recreational activities.

As men embrace their God-given roles and responsibilities, homes will be transformed, communities will thrive, and cultures will be influenced by the power of Christ. It is intended that The Salvation Army Men’s Ministries empower men to become catalysts for positive transformation through their relationship with Jesus Christ. As this ministry continues to grow and develop in our Territory, we pray that the impact of Men’s Ministry will be felt in every Corps and corner of Southern Africa, as hearts and lives are changed and shaped by the grace and love of God.
