Today the Territorial Junior Soldier Bible Challenge unfolded with enthusiasm and excitement as part of the Commissioning Weekend Celebrations. Divisions were proudly represented by their top two teams, showcasing the dedication and passion of Junior Soldiers who have been diligently diving into the book of Romans and the Junior Soldier Adventurers material. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the teams engaged in rigorous rounds of questioning, putting their knowledge and understanding to the test.

The competition was tough with teams from all over the Territory vying to win the Bible Challenge. Eight teams progressed to the second round. After a nail-biting round, the three teams remaining in the final stage of the Bible Challenge came from the Central, Mpumalanga & eSwatini & Western Cape Divisions. Anticipation is mounting as we prepare to hear the results during the Sunday service tomorrow, where the first, second and third placements will be announced.

As we eagerly await the final results to be announced tomorrow, it is evident that our Junior Soldiers have not only grown in their understanding of the Scriptures but have also exemplified teamwork, resilience and commitment to serving God in The Salvation Army. Over the last 5 years, the Territorial Junior Soldier Bible Challenge stands as a testament to the desire of our young people to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ as they have displayed dedication to exploring and applying the teachings of the Bible through this programme. May God bless the Junior Soldiers of The Southern Africa Territory!

  1. Wow, our young people did so well. We are so proud of our Junior Soldiers who diligently studied the book of Romans, learned memory verses and understood what it means to be a Salvationist. Well done to the winning Corps and Divisions and all those who came alongside our young people.
