As Protective Behaviours trainings continue to be conducted throughout the Territory, aimed at empowering and safeguarding our children from abuse by teaching life skills, body autonomy, decision-making skills, and how to create an individualized safety network, the Mpumalanga and eSwatini Division recently held their training weekend. Hosted by Pienaar Corps, the Protective Behaviours training took place on May 10th and 11th, 2024. Thirty-four individuals were trained as Level 1 practitioners by Major Leanne Browski, with support from the Territorial Youth & Candidates Secretary, Captain Nonhlanhla Maphalala, and the Divisional Commander, Major Naomi Malinga. Delegates included Officers, YP Local Officers, some ECD teachers, and a social worker from the Pienaar Community. We praise God for the training that has taken place and are hopeful that hundreds of children across the Division will be reached, equipped and empowered.
