The Mission Team recently embarked on an evangelism campaign in the Northern Kwa Zulu Natal Division at eMondlo Corps. The team was eager to share the love of Christ and bring hope to the community.
One of the highlights was our door-to-door ministry, where we prayed with families and shared the Gospel. At one home, we encountered an elderly lady caring for her bedridden granddaughter, who was unable to attend school due to illness. It was a moving moment when we led the young girl to Christ from her sickbed, offering her spiritual comfort in her time of need.

In addition to the door-to-door ministry, we conducted an awareness campaign on child protection and anti-human trafficking (AHT) at eMondlo Mall. The response was overwhelming, with many people expressing gratitude for The Salvation Army’s work in raising awareness on these critical issues.

Our kids’ club was another highlight, attracting 108 children. The theme, “God is Love,” connected with the children, and we had the privilege of leading 12 children to Christ for the first time. A youth service followed, where 15 young people made the life-changing decision to follow Jesus.

The open-air meeting and the overall campaign left a lasting impact on both the team and the community. Team members shared how this experience deepened their faith and strengthened their resolve to serve God.

The campaign in eMondlo was a powerful reminder of the power of the Gospel and the importance of obedience and surrender in ministry. The stories and experiences shared by the team are a witness to God’s work in NKZN and the lives touched through this outreach.
