From the 5th to the 6th of October 2024, the Mpumalanga and Eswatini Division held its divisional Home League rally, hosted by Langeloop Corps under the theme “Umchele wami lone litje leliligugu”—translated as Pearl of the Crown—taken from Proverbs 3:15-18. We were blessed by the presence of Lieut Colonel N. Mahlobo (TSWM) as our guest for the weekend. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, she spoke life into our hearts.

One of the most important points Lieut Colonel Mahlobo shared was the significance of women knowing themselves and being confident. She highlighted how many women struggle with confidence due to their backgrounds or the situations they’ve endured.

We were also blessed by Mrs. N. Maphumulo, a clinical psychologist from Mbombela, who addressed the anger issues women face due to societal expectations. She spoke about how these pressures often break women, leaving them voiceless.

On Saturday, we honoured and recognized the Silver Star parents and retired officers, presenting them with gifts in appreciation of the important role they play in our division. We are grateful for the selfless and cheerful giving, as reflected in 2 Corinthians 9:7-9, of all the ladies during Shayatafula.

The rally concluded on Sunday with another powerful Bible message from Lieut Colonel Mahlobo, who preached from Joshua 2 about Rahab, a woman known as a prostitute but who became liqhawe (victorious over circumstances).

We praise the Almighty for this blessed weekend of fellowship, learning, service, and worship.
