This September, our men gathered in the community of Seshego to take part in this year’s Divisional Men’s Rally. As Men of Integrity, they stayed true to their commitment to contribute towards their shaya-tafula (helping hand) initiative, which supports various projects in the Division. As Men of God, they welcomed the teachings of Mme Elizabeth Vhengani, a qualified health professional with extensive experience in hospital work and training others. She addressed the topics of prostate cancer and kidney failure, encouraging the men—who are fearfully and wonderfully made by God—to take responsibility for their health by attending necessary check-ups.

As Men of Service, the attendees were reminded by the Divisional Men’s Fellowship chairperson to focus on important matters within their Corps that will build up the church of God, referencing 1 Corinthians 15:19. As Men of Holiness, Lieutenant Ndou shared from the book of Nehemiah, emphasizing the importance of supporting one another. They dedicated their time together in prayer to the Lord, who has sustained them throughout this year. As Men of Fellowship, they could not leave without enjoying the meal that had been prepared and engaging in informal conversations as they reflected on the day.

We trust the Lord for what He has done and for all that He will continue to do in the future.
