In this week of Advent we are reminded to pause and reflect on the One who doesn’t just add meaning to our lives but is the very essence of life itself. Lieut-Colonel Nokuthula Mahlobo, our Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, answers the question, “Who is Jesus?” by reminding us that He is Life. Just as water is essential to our survival, Jesus, the Living Water, is essential to our souls. Without Him, we remain dry and empty, longing for something more.
In John 4:14, Jesus promises, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” This Advent, as we prepare for Christmas, let us not miss the opportunity to drink deeply from the well of Living Water. May this reflection draw us closer to Him, the source of life, joy, and hope.
