As the Mission Team embarked on their three-month Entry Phase, guided by the powerful slogan “Where transformation meets adventure,” they experienced a profound journey of personal and collective growth, evolving from individuals with separate stories into a united team, prepared for impactful ministry.

Coming from diverse backgrounds, each member brought unique testimonies and callings, but during this phase, they laid aside individual identities to embrace a shared mission centered on deepening their relationship with God—cultivating lives rooted in discipline, prayer, and engagement with the Word, all aimed at living authentically and purposefully.

Team-building was integral from the outset. The Youth Department organized ice-breaking activities like speed “get-to-know-you” sessions, which fostered early bonds and set a collaborative, Christ-centered tone. As weeks passed, these relationships matured through shared learning, prayer, and vulnerability, enabling the team to listen to each other’s stories, heal personal wounds, and grow in empathy. They transformed from mere teammates into a family.

A variety of internal and external speakers, including sessions facilitated by Heartlines, addressed meaningful themes such as “telling your story” and “fathers matter,” opening pathways for healing, reflection, and hope for future ministry. The team also received practical and spiritual training—Scripture Union prepared them for school ministry, while evangelism sessions with Every Home for Christ equipped them to confidently share their testimonies and reach out boldly. They developed hands-on skills in Children and Youth Ministry, learning how to connect with younger audiences through tailored messages and engaging outreach methods.

Self-discovery was emphasized through tools like the Enneagram assessment, fostering greater self-awareness and enhancing relationships with others. Teachings on Conflict and Anger Management provided practical skills for navigating interpersonal challenges with maturity, complemented by sessions on emotional healing, spiritual gifts, and mercy seat counseling, shaping each member into a compassionate, grounded servant of God.

Spiritual growth was woven into every aspect of training. The sacred school of prayer deepened their intimacy with God and introduced various methods of prayer and intercession. Workshops on preparing devotions, crafting sermons, and sharing personal testimonies refined their communication skills, while creative arts such as dance and drama offered expressive avenues for worship and connection.

As they now stand on the edge of the next phase—putting theory into practice—their growth is evident. They are no longer a collection of individuals but a cohesive, spiritually equipped, emotionally strengthened team united in their calling to serve. With hearts full of faith and hands eager to work, they move forward, ready to deliver messages of hope, love, and transformation wherever God sends them.
