The Territorial Mission Team, burdened for the homeless community around where they live, took time today to prepare, cook, and share a meal with those in need using groceries from their own cupboard. Before serving, they gathered with the community in prayer, asking for God’s blessing over the time together. Each plate was offered with genuine care, reflecting the Team’s desire to love and serve those often overlooked.
As food was distributed, the Team also looked for opportunities to engage with people in small but meaningful ways. One gentleman, touched by the outreach to the community, expressed his gratitude while standing in line to receive food, saying: “Thank you for caring for us.” His words have lingered in their minds. What a privilege to serve and to be the hands and feet of Jesus, meeting people where they are with care!
