The Youth and Sunday School children from Joel Mbambo Mathunjwa Memorial Corps in the Central Division recently engaged in demonstrating acts of kindness by distributing baby powders to new mothers at Siphosensimbi Clinic. Embracing The Salvation Army’s motto of “Hand to Man and Heart to God,” the initiative aimed to convey a message of love and support to the mothers attending the clinic. The focus was not on the scale of the gifts but on reminding these mothers that they are not alone, that God loves them and is always ready to embrace them. During the visit, the young people spent time praying with the mothers, seeking God’s love and comfort for their unique needs. Using the resources at their disposal, they planted seeds of hope in the hearts of these mothers, trusting in God for their growth. The outreach goes beyond a simple act of kindness; there is a genuine hope to see these mothers joining one of the Sunday Services in the near future. This intentional effort seeks to create a lasting connection, providing a sense of community and support as an expression of the boundless love of God.

  1. This is what we call Hamba Vhangeli. The word is being spread in different ways. These soldiers are so committed in everything they are doing. May God bless them in the time spent.
