The final day of the Crown Her Territorial Women’s Ministries Conference unfolded with a clear call to live lives that shine for the glory of God. Under the theme Crown Her with Legacy: A Life That Shines, the women of the Southern Africa Territory gathered one last time this weekend, ready to carry the light of Christ into every space they touch.

Sunday morning began with a joyful March of Witness through the Orlando community. Clothed in red and marching with purpose, the women moved together declaring with every step that their faith is alive, their mission is clear, and their lives are surrendered to Christ!

Again this morning, the Orlando Stadium hall was filled with women, gathered at the feet of Jesus in worship. Throughout the morning songs rose, prayers were spoken in faith, and hearts were bowed low before the King of Kings.

Commissioner Deise Eliasen shared a challenging message from 2 Kings 11, comparing two women – Queen Athaliah and Princess Jehosheba. While Athaliah used her influence destructively, Jehosheba used hers to preserve life and protect God’s purposes. Through this contrast, Commissioner Eliasen challenged the women to reflect on the kind of influence they are exerting, reminding them that “we all influence – the question is, what kind of influence do you exert?” The TPWM encouraged the women to hide themselves in the Lord and to live daily in a way that builds a godly legacy.

The women joined together in singing “This Little Light of Mine” and many raised the torches they had received during the weekend – symbolic of their desire to let their lives shine brightly for Jesus. Commissioner Eliasen then took a special moment to call all the young women forward and prayed a blessing over them. As the Holy Spirit moved among the women, Lieut-Colonel Nokuthula Mahlobo led a altar call. Many responded, some with tears, others with hearts saying, “Yes, Lord” to the next step of obedience and legacy living.

As the service continued, the TPWM and TSWM created a time of celebration and encouragement by recognising Divisions that have shown growth and improvement. The Central Division received two awards for Home League growth and overall improvement, while the Eastern KwaZulu-Natal was awarded a certificate for the most improved Young Women’s Fellowship. The Western Cape Division was also honoured with a certificate for the most improved Junior Miss in the Territory, and the Eastern Cape Division received a certificate for the women’s ministry that recorded the highest number of seekers.

The women from every Division were acknowledged and celebrated for their creativity and dedication in preparing crowns for Crown Her. As part of a crown-making competition, the results were announced: Eastern Cape Division was awarded first place, Western Cape Division came in second, and Mid KwaZulu-Natal Division secured third place.

Then came a time of appreciation, as women were honoured for their contribution for Crown Her 2025. The committee who worked faithfully behind the scenes to bring Crown Her to life were acknowledged and thanked for their dedication and service. Commissioner Deise Eliasen took a moment to honour Lieut-Colonel Nokuthula Mahlobo as the driving force behind every aspect of Crown Her, expressing deep appreciation for her passion, tireless efforts and contagious enthusiasm.

Major Juanita Wright, the DDWM from the Western Cape Division, was also honoured with a crown and words of encouragement as she prepares for her upcoming change of appointment. She will be moving to serve at International Headquarters and goes with the love and prayerful support of the women of the Territory.

As Crown Her 2025 was the final Territorial Women’s Rally in the Territory with Commissioner Deise Eliasen before her retirement at the end of the year, a crown and seal were presented to her in tribute. Colonel Miriam Mavundla offered a loving prayer of blessing over the TPWM, and a beautiful surprise video message from Commissioner Deise’s daughter was shared.

As Crown Her 2025 came to a close, from the very first worship song to the final “Amen,” there was a real sense that God was moving in a lasting way in the lives of the women. When the prayers ended and the music faded, the women left carrying hope and a desire to leave a godly legacy that will impact not only the present, but generations to come. We praise God for all He has accomplished during Crown Her 2025 – to God be the glory, great things He has done!
