My name is Nosipho Ntuli from KwaMashu Corps in Mid Kwa Zulu Natal Division. I would like to share my testimony with you today. Firstly, I thank God for what He has done for me. This has been a challenging journey, but I thank Him for giving me confidence and making me stronger every day.

Last year, when I entered the College For Officer Training (CFOT), it was not easy for me because I was thinking that I would not survive due to my low self-esteem. But I thank God that He has kept me this far; I have learned many things and have grown spiritually. I now have confidence in myself, and I can stand in front of people and preach the Word of God with conviction.

My second year was exciting but also scary, going to a Corps for my out-training appointment. It was a nice experience, though, because when I got there, people were happy to have me in their Corps. It was good to put into action what I had been taught in College. It was challenging, but I enjoyed Home League, Youth and especially Sunday school because there were many kids in the community that I had the opportunity to share Jesus with.

Leading God’s people is not easy; you need God all the time! I thank God for what He has done for me; I have seen Him working in my life, and I now enjoy the call that He has placed upon my life. The verse that keeps me going is Proverbs 3:5-6: ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight.’
